I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Old Rectory in Ruthin, and I must say, the culinary innovation and ambiance of the restaurant left a lasting impression on me. the ease of access to the hotel made for a stress-free arrival, and the range of sites to fish from in the surrounding area offered a unique experience for guests. As a fishing enthusiast myself, I appreciated the quality of the fish available and spent a delightful afternoon by the stream. The selection of fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and homemade bread at breakfast was a delightful start to the day. the homemade bread, in particular, showcased the care and attention to detail put in by the host. the tranquil setting of the Old Rectory, combined with the delicious breakfast, made for a memorable stay. Overall, the Old Rectory truly stands out for its simplicity and warmth, making it a special place to visit.
